The Golden Age of velvet

A timeless fabric, that may disappear from time to time, but always comes back – usually, when we least expect it. We are of course talking about velvet, which once again, is living its golden age. That’s no surprise: velvet is soft, nice to touch, and creates a warm, homely feeling. That cosiness is particularly welcoming now, when the weather is getting colder.  Especially when it’s used as an upholstery fabric on sofas, like in these pictures. Who wouldn’t want to just snuggle up with a hot cup of tea and a nice book?
